The reason for the
foundations inception

In 1994, Jean Gladu Sr., our father was diagnose with " Godpasture " disease which affects the way our kidneys function. After two years
of dialysis he had the opportunity to have a kidney transplant operation. Unfortunately the procedure failed and he past away at the age of 50 on July 14th, 1996 from kidney decease.

Now, after almost seven years, we wanted to find a way assist others with kidney disease and keep the memeory of our father in our hearts and in our thoughts.

The mission of " The Jean Gladu Foundation " is to help raise funds for research and to help find a cure for this terrible disease. The funds raised will also be used to fianace activities dedicated to helping others inflicted with this disease so that they could live a better life.
